I agree 100%. I stood in a blizzard in January to caucus for the guy. I canvased my neighborhood. I gave my hard earned money to his campaign. I did those things to END the abuses of the Bush administration, not extend them.

I should have stuck to my guns and voted for Kucinich like I wanted to early on. I want my vote back, Mr. President.

Probably the best "refudiation" of the free market bullshit I've seen yet. I've been watching the "free market" work for over fifty years and I have never... not once... seen the concept have any kind of long lasting desirable effect on the other 98% of us.

As for the story itself, letting those obscene tax cuts would do a lot to restore at least part of my faith in this administration and it wouldn't cost the them a damned thing.

The Republicans and Blue Dogs are going to attack them no matter what they do and if they give in on this, the next shot out of the Republican bag will be even further cuts in taxes for the rich.

As for Rich Republicans... Hey mamahumpers, if you'd quit pulling your ill gotten fricking gains out of the US economy and salting it away in beachfront banks in the Caymans to avoid paying the taxes you DO owe we might not even be having this discussion.
